Hackney bathroom project
Deep green tiles, warm brushed brass and a carefully planned layout give this North London bathroom a calm, practical finish.
The design
A bold finish, balanced for everyday use
The brief was to create a bathroom that felt calm and considered while still having a clear point of view. Deep green tiles bring depth to the bathing area, while brushed brass fittings add warmth without overpowering the room.
A wall-mounted double vanity keeps the floor clear and gives two people comfortable space to use the room. The wide mirror, layered lighting and practical storage help the finished bathroom feel brighter, more open and easy to live with.
- Layout and service planning before work began
- Careful waterproofing and precise tile alignment
- Coordinated plumbing, electrical work and finishing
- Final snagging, checks and clean before handover
What the work included
One coordinated renovation, from preparation to final detail
The sequence was planned around the room, the selected materials and the agreed two-week programme.
Strip-out and first fix
The existing bathroom was removed, services were reconfigured and the structure and subfloor were prepared for the new layout.
Waterproofing and tiling
Wet areas were tanked before the green tiles were set out and installed with consistent lines around the bath and shower.
Installation and finish
The vanity, sanitaryware, lighting and brushed brass fittings were installed before final sealing, snagging and handover.
