Highbury N4 bathroom project
Deep green tiles, a geometric floor, warm orange accents and matt-black fittings give this compact bathroom a distinctive, balanced character.
The design
Confident colour, grounded by careful detailing
The original beige bathroom was replaced with a clearer shower-room layout and a much stronger identity. Deep green tiles define the wet area, while the geometric floor and warm orange vanity wall introduce colour without overwhelming the compact space.
Black fittings, a dark wall-mounted vanity and slim shower glazing connect the elements. The result feels individual, practical and carefully resolved.
- Layout and service planning before work began
- Full strip-out, preparation and waterproofing

Before the renovation
The genuine starting point
These photographs show the original beige bathroom before strip-out. The bath, shower screen, sanitaryware, vanity and finishes were removed before the new layout and palette were installed.

What the work included
One coordinated renovation, from strip-out to final detail
The room was carefully sequenced around the chosen materials and the agreed one-and-a-half-week programme.
Strip-out and first fix
The original bathroom was removed, services were adjusted and the walls and floor were prepared for the new shower-room layout.
Waterproofing and tiling
Wet areas were prepared before the green wall tiles and geometric floor were measured, set out and installed.
Installation and finish
The shower glazing, vanity, lighting, sanitaryware and black fittings were installed before final sealing and checks.
Finished details
